Joomla! Day is an event bringing local members of the open source content management system Joomla! together to discuss successes and challenges. In order to set this site apart from other Joomla! Day websites, we decided to make the DC area seem fun, taking a twist on the normally serious approach to our founding fathers and the nation's capital. The cut-paper illustrations give the site a fun and more organic feel.
